Terms and Conditions
Registration Terms and Conditions:
- New students have to register before formal enrolment into a course.
- Registration continues until a student decides to discontinue the enrolment formally in writing, drops out of the course and does not join back for 2 consecutive terms after which the enrolment is cancelled.
- Students returning after 2 or more terms have to re-register again.
Fees and Classes:
- Course fee is payable per term in advance as per cut off dates/schedule before the start of the term.
- Management reserves the right to cancel a program or shift the venue due to incomplete batch or any other unforeseen circumstances.
- Due to the nature of the program no makeup lessons are possible.
- No fee refunds or credit adjustments will be made.
Inside the classroom:
- Laptops, Tablets and Robotic kits are the property of the management and is provided to students for the classroom use only.
- Students must take care all of the devices including laptops, robotic kits etc as any damage caused to devices by students must be borne by the parents.
- Students will work and train in groups, it is essential that students cooperate with other students and facilitate project-based learning. Any aggressive or inappropriate behaviour with fellow students or teachers will not be appreciated and will be reported to parents.
- Such recurring behaviour may lead to de-registration and parents will be called to collect the student, no refunds shall be offered in such case.
- Parents and/or guardians must advise us in advance while registering if the child has any special needs or conditions that we should be aware of.
- No food consumption or sharing of food is allowed during the class.
- We reserve the right to modify or change the program and suitable information and notification shall be provided.
- Risk assessments will be regularly reviewed and updated.
Risk Assessment
Risk and mitigations:
- Lego® bricks are very small and can present a choking hazard to students.
- Students to be given clear instructions for safe use.
- Students appropriately supervised throughout the workshop.
- Limit and/or restrict access to devices/kits/resources as appropriate.
Trips and falls:
- Scan the facilities to identify any potential hazards and take steps to secure or minimise the hazard. e.g. Check for any loose cables or similar items that may be a hazard and take steps to secure them.
- Inform, notify suitable authority or contact of the facility immediately.
- Advise and remind students of any residual risks related to the hazard. If possible, isolate the area and prevent students from accessing the area.
- Ensure adequate lighting.
